Testing task: Close an empty combobox in reading mode

With NVDA in reading mode, describe how NVDA behaves when performing task "With the reading cursor on the combobox, close the combobox."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for NVDA. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets focus on and expands the combobox.
  3. With the reading cursor on the combobox, close the combobox.
  4. Using the following commands, With the reading cursor on the combobox, close the combobox.
    • Escape

To pass this test, NVDA needs to meet all the following assertions when each specified command is executed:

  1. Change in state (to collapsed) is conveyed
