Testing task: Narrow down the matching options in a filled in, expanded combobox

Describe how VoiceOver for macOS behaves when performing task "With focus on the combobox, type a character to narrow down the number of matching options in the listbox popup."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for VoiceOver for macOS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets focus on and expands the combobox, sets the combobox value to 'a', and de-selects all text in the input.
  3. With focus on the combobox, type a character to narrow down the number of matching options in the listbox popup.
